Marketing
The marketing strategy of both the Singapore Arts Festival and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe are similar to some extent. Both the festivals would put emphasis on attracting foreign visitors to visit the festival.
However, the Singapore Arts Festival also place a high amount of emphasis on the local market. The festival provides plenty of programmes in the heartlands of Singapore to attract local Singaporeans to get in touch with the arts. Many of these programmes are also free-of-charge, therefore would be a huge appeal to the locals in Singapore, including me!
